First of all, lets get the name correct! its not Abi titmus, Abbie titmuss or even Abi tittmus (I have seen all these variations and more!) the correct spelling is “Abi Titmuss”. Titmuss was born on 8 February, 1976. She grew up in Ruskington.

Abi and John Leslie – the big scandal

Titmuss met TV presenter John Leslie at a party in pub on the Fulham Road in 1998. Leslie was named as the anonymous celebrity linked to the rape accusation in Ulrika Jonsson’s autobiography live on TV. John Leslie was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Force, and faced a court trial, throughout which Titmuss was demurely present at his side. leslie was subsequently found not guilty but the media exposure finished his career, the opposite happened to Abi however, the press loved the way she stood by her man and soon she became a favourite amongst them. In the following year, she dominated UK men’s magazines front pages, such as FHM , Nuts, Zoo Weekly, Loaded, GQ and Maxim. ITV1’s Celebrity Love Island ander other television work such as Hell’s Kitchen and The Friday Night Project secured her a permanent place in the Uk as a top sexy celebrity.
