The phenomen of the celebs sex tapes has really caught on in recent years, in fact if you are a celeb and you have not got a “stolen” home video of your sexploits circulating around the web then you are missing out on a great marketing tool to ressurect your flagging career! Although the original Pamela Anderson sex tape scandal may well be genuine it is obvious that since then many celebs – particularly B list celebrities or those celebs who are simply not getting any work – cynically use the celeb sex tape scandals as an effective tool to get themselves back on the front page!

First of all, lets get the name correct! its not Abi titmus, Abbie titmuss or even Abi tittmus (I have seen all these variations and more!) the correct spelling is “Abi Titmuss”. Titmuss was born on 8 February, 1976. She grew up in Ruskington.

Abi and John Leslie – the big scandal

Titmuss met TV presenter John Leslie at a party in pub on the Fulham Road in 1998. Leslie was named as the anonymous celebrity linked to the rape accusation in Ulrika Jonsson’s autobiography live on TV. John Leslie was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Force, and faced a court trial, throughout which Titmuss was demurely present at his side. leslie was subsequently found not guilty but the media exposure finished his career, the opposite happened to Abi however, the press loved the way she stood by her man and soon she became a favourite amongst them. John leslie allegedly leaked a home video of himself Abi and friends involved in a threesome with explicit sexual scenes, the infamous Abi Titmuss sex video was, strangely, the final push Abi’s career needed and catapulted her to stardom. She was offered various television presenting jobs. Her looks and ease in front of the camera gained her a part-time post as a reporter for Leslie’s friends Richard and Judy on mainstream TV.
